The templates offered for sale by Legally Shalini are products and they are offered in compliance with Australian Consumer Law.
All Template purchases consist of:
1. These Terms of Purchase
2. The Template or Template Pack you have purchased
3. Explanatory notes to guide you to completion
4. A link to booking a Coaching Call if you feel you need further support.
Payment Terms & Delivery
Legally Shalini has designed this process to be very simple and straightforward for you – everything you need for a completed document is contained in an easily editable Word Document.
Payment for each template is made online via Stripe. You will be provided with a link to download the Template and a Tax Receipt for your payment.
Each template has been prepared after providing a custom drafting service for legal documents to hundreds of clients and contain important and most relevant or likely used clauses by businesses in a start-up.
The Direction Boxes provide you with directions that a legal practitioner would ask you when drafting a legal document similar to this template for you.
Every care has been taken by Legally Shalini to provide valuable and relevant information in each template, however, this is a product provided to you at a lower cost than working with Shalini personally as her client. Therefore, as a condition of this purchase, you understand and agree that Shalini is not and cannot be held responsible for how you use this template.
You are purchasing this template as a Product and not a 1:1 service where you become a Legally Shalini client and therefore NO legal relationship is formed between you and Legally Shalini as a result of your purchase of any template created by Legally Shalini.
Your purchase and use of this template is at your own risk. You understand that no guarantee is provided by Legally Shalini for fitness for purpose of your purchase. Further, Legally Shalini is not responsible for anyproblems, issues, disputes or financial losses that arise as a result of your use of any template you purchase including technical or software issues you may experience when downloading or editing any templates.
To participate in and rely upon the protection of a legal advice based on a lawyer-client relation you must upgrade to a Legal Coaching Call for advice about your particular situation in relation to the template you have purchased, or you may elect to engage a “Done for You” service where Legally Shalini manages your legal documentation requirement from start to finish.
You also need to understand the following requirements in order to ensure the best use of your purchase:
1. You need to be reasonably confident in written English so you are able to understand the directions and explanatory notes.
2. Templates contain generic information and will never be a substitute for specialist legal advice for particular and individual circumstances
3. After you have purchased a template, only you would have seen the final product and therefore you are responsible for the final document and its effectiveness for your business, and as such you

If you not an Australian based business please have your template reviewed by a lawyer in your jurisdiction as amendments to comply with local laws may be required.

You may use your purchased template or template pack only for its intended purpose i.e. which is creating an agreement yourself for use in your business. The templates or template pack cannot be shared or otherwise made public and much care, time, effort, knowledge and skill and been invested in making this resource available to you so you can get on with your business.
Legally Shalini’s logo and the phrase “love your legals” are common law trademarks. They may not be used under any circumstances without express written permission from Legally Shalini.
Due to the digital nature of this product, there is no refund offered for a change of mind.
Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution
Legally Shalini is located in Brisbane and this agreement is subject to the governing law of Queensland, Australia.
If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of Legally Shalini templates, both parties, you and Legally Shalini, agree to make a genuine effort to resolve any issues through discussion and negotiation.
If we are unable to resolve a dispute by negotiation and discussion within 14 days, we agree to proceed to mediation with the assistance of an accredited mediator and we agree to share the costs of mediation equally. If we cannot agree on a mediate we will request a mediator to be appointed by the Queensland Law Society.
Litigation to be considered a last resort and may not be commenced until, in the opinion of the accredited mediator, the potential for negotiation and mediation have been exhausted.
